Project Overview

 

Grand Island's premier public shooting park, operated and managed under the Parks and Recreation Department of the City of Grand Island, underwent major renovations in 2017 & 2018. In its current state, the shooting park is the largest, most complete public shooting facility in the Midwest. 

An international bunker trap range was installed at the park. This facility that allows competitive and non-competitive shooters the opportunity to practice the international discipline of bunker trap shooting. This historical event allows 5-6 shooters to simultaneously shoot clay targets from 15 machines.
