GIX Logistics was named the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation's Business of the Year award at the EDC Annual Meeting yesterday afternoon.
GIX Logistics, under the leadership of Tom Pirnie, Jim Pirnie, and Mike Young are a model employer for millennials. This upcoming generation of workforce will have different expectations for their work/life balance. GIX has figured it out. They are able to recruit, engage, and retain young, talented workforce to Grand Island, Nebraska.
