Directly to the east of Platte Valley Industrial Park is Platte Valley Industrial Park East (PVIPE). The East property offers nearly 280 acres of undeveloped land.
In 2011, the state recognized the property's potential and awarded it funds from the Community Redevelopment Block Grant. These funds were used to build the property's infrastructure. PVIPE is now fully equipped with city-managed utilities such as sewer, gas, water, and electricity. There is a paved street and the potential for rail service.
