What is the Grand Island Business Blueprint Workshop?
The Grand Island Business Blueprint Workshop is Grand Island's way of continuing the advancement of economic mobility and entrepreneurial support within our community. This workshop will help expand the business foundations to high- wage, high- skill, high- demand (H3) industries.
Is space limited?
Yes, space is limited to 10 members.
Why is grant funding available to entrepreneurs now?
Because of the tremendous success of the Grand Island Community Kitchen Pilot Program, the City of Grand Island, Economic Development Corporation, and Central Community College wish to continue their partnership and expand the business development workshop to High-Wage, High-Skill, High-Demand (H3) industries. Many of the same business foundations will be taught with a flare to the trades industries. After the successful completion of the 6-week workshop, participants will be eligible for a $3,000 LB840 grant to be used towards equipment, software, marketing, business rental space, professional services, etc.
How long is the Business Blueprint Workshop?
Each workshop will be 6 weeks long with meetings on Thursday evenings from 6p-8p starting October 2- November 6, 2025.
What will I learn during the Business Blueprint Workshop?
During the 6 weeks of the workshop, participants will be coached by industry professionals and instructors from Central Community College-Entrepreneurship Center. PLUS $3,000 towards your business.
