Nebraska Business Development Center is hosting a hands-on interactive workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs with BIG ideas! This multi-session training in Grand Island will prepare entrepreneurs to discover the business value of their idea and be ready to successfully pitch their innovation to attract potential investors and partners. We're looking for entrepreneurs with big ideas who are ready to start thinking in terms of business. Together we will explore solutions to business problems, routes for commercialization, and in the end, define a value proposition and a pathway to growth. You will:

  • Analyze your innovation, research or business idea to determine its market potential
  • Learn how to attract investors and potential partners
  • Discover steps you can take that add the most value to your path to commercialization

 

On-your-feet, interactive, pre-commercialization clinic


 

You will use the WENDY KENNEDY PROGRAM methodology and tools to fully examine the value of your idea and its potential in the market. These are working meetings, NOT training workshops. At the end of the six-week program, you will be ready to successfully pitch your idea.

FEES: $300 (plus fees) per person. Fee will include a WKI methodology book and materials.

 

Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation is offering a financial sponsorship for up to 8 participants. Grand Island Economic Development will forgive the second half of the tuition fee. The $150 refund will be available to participants that take the next step.
