Inland Truck Parts & Service will break ground for its new operation in Grand Island on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 9 a.m. The nearly $4 million facility, on 9 acres at Platte Valley Industrial Park, will be located at 4480 Gold Core Drive.

“After the announcement of Inland Truck Parts & Service’s expansion to Grand Island in May 2016, the GIAEDC staff and Board of Trustees are excited to welcome Inland Truck to their new site,” says Dave Taylor, President of the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation. “Inland Truck will create over 20 wealth-producing jobs at this facility and will be a great addition to the established industrial park”.

“Our team at Inland Truck Parts & Service is thrilled to be one step closer to expanding our operations to Grand Island. With the help of the GIAEDC, our expansion efforts have been seamless and easy,” says David Schaefer Chief Financial Officer for Inland Truck Parts & Service.

“I look forward to servicing this community’s needs for truck parts and services. As a long-time resident of Grand Island, I believe Inland, a company that is 100% owned by its employees, will be a great fit for the Midwest values of the region,” says Steve Toner, who spent over three decades in management at Toner’s Inc. and Titan Machinery and will be the General Manager of the new Inland operation.
