2015 Business of the Year

(Grand Island, NE) - It is with great pleasure that the Grand Island Area Economic Development Corporation (GIAEDC) Board of Trustees announces TOBA Inc. as its 2015 Business of the Year. Recognition of the award will be during the EDC's Annual Meeting on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Riverside Golf Club.

TOBA Inc., mid-Nebraska's food service specialist, has called Grand Island home since 1995 and continues to remain a family-owned and operated business.

TOBA Inc. is the holding company for The Thompson Company, Mid-Nebraska Restaurant Supply, and MyONcore.com located in Grand Island, Nebraska; DI Manufacturing and Taste Traditions, both out of Omaha; Variety Foods in Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Braunger Foods in Sioux City, Iowa. These businesses specialize in various aspects of the industry including food manufacturing and distribution, as well as restaurant supply products and equipment.
