Central Community College
Grand Island is the home of Central Community College, which has three campus locations. Central Community College provides quality education, training and services for residents, businesses and industries of Grand Island and the surrounding service area.

Central Community College offers academic and vocational training in over 50 program areas. The college also provides programs of study in conjunction with Bellevue College and University of Nebraska at Kearney for undergraduate degrees and advanced degrees.

Working in conjunction with business and industry, the staff at Central Community College can develop a comprehensive assessment and training program for any client. Through the use of contracting, Central Community College can bring in the expertise to train your employees or hire your own people to do the training. Training facilities can be provided on campus or moved to your location. By working with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, a comprehensive low-cost training program can be put together in record time.

College Park
Grand Island, the third largest city in Nebraska, is attempting to overcome its greatest barrier to growth, economic development and diversification — The absence of a comprehensive institution of higher learning.

The Grand Island College Park Committee has successfully formed a unique consortium of public and private colleges. These institutions are collectively committed to providing complete sequences of courses leading to bachelors and masters degrees.

Participating colleges include Central Community College and Doane College. District and Hall County Cooperative Extension Service resources enhance the program offerings.

The availability of fiber optics and satellite technology enables campuses located too far away to justify the time and expense of sending instructors to teach classes to deliver a comprehensive program of instruction which is effective, practical and affordable. This facility accommodates one and two-way videoconferences and classes in classroom settings as well as in a 300 seat auditorium with a full stage. A Video Conference Service is also available for small administrative meetings between selected sites.
